About This Game Until I Have You, is a story-driven, fast-paced, retro-aesthetic platformer, engulfed in a Cyberpunk setting.Driving you to the edge of your seat as you run n' gun through enemies, the game recounts a thrilling story of regret, love and corruption, in a city that’s gone haywire and just doesn't give a damn. This is the story of the ARTIST, a talented assassin, who has worked many dirty jobs in a long and successful career. However the ARTIST’s clients know he is irreplaceable, and are unwilling to allow the craftsman to hangup his tool belt. They send him this message by kidnapping his wife, Emily, and make it clear, retirement is not an option! The ARTIST is determined to get his wife back, and prepares himself for one last assignment. He understands to be successful he needs to go all out, and he procures a rare exoskeleton suit. Although this provides him with additional powers, it also can cause hallucinations and affect his judgment. It's dark, and you get a feel of noir. Buy this if you want to have some feels for the MC and some challenging stages.. Pros: - Nice Art- Good ambientation.Contra:- Glitchs in screen all time- Clunky movements and gameplay- Spam of achievements for every action- No detection of several buttons of my gamepad (Xbox controller)- There is always an introduction teaching the end at the beginning of each level very annoying, since you can only move to the right.- The music re-starts after each death making the first chords tedious.. Controls and camera placement can be slightly wonky but can be adapted to with some trial and error. I had a few problems getting the game to run in full screen and also controller issues but thankfully the dev helped out and I was able to play the game with a controller, still had to play in a near full size window but I can live with that. Anyway if you like anything cyberpunk this game does mostly everything in the genre very well. It has a really great (and voiced!) story and the music is excellent too. The bosses are a ton of fun because they aren't just bullet sponges and each one has their own pattern and trick to learn which was great. So if you enjoy cyberpunk like I do pick it up on a sale.. Liked the overall atmosphere of cyberpunk tropes but with some body-horror and weird sci-fi ideas sprinkled in. Liked the varied levels, environments. The story was actually really good, but the dialogues/monologues could have been better written. The base mechanic of fast-paced platforming was interesting, appreciated the fact that most enemies can be ignored with well-timed jumps, but there were plenty of messy sections, wonky platform-edges, stupid enemy placement etc. Bosses were fun, all 12 of them with some clean solution to beat them. The progress of levelling up weapons was a really meaningless addition. There were some crashes, some tearing and slow down at certain section, but that's forgivable.. Until I Have You is a game where you play as the elusive Shadman, wherein you must save your fiancée from the clients you previously worked with. But seriously, I got this on sale and it was pretty good for less than a dollar. I wouldn't really recommend full price as some parts of the game are unpolished (My chief complaint being the lack of a game speed setting, freezing at checkpoints and at the start of levels, and not being able to change the resolution.)Other than that, the game is excellent for the price I got it at; Perhaps you'll find it worth the full price?64/100. The game had a decent premise going for it, but the combat felt extremely dated. It felt like a true Sega Genesis game, as in this would've blown my mind if it came out in the early 90's.If you can tolerate the combat, then you'll probably enjoy this one, as the story/voiceovers/artwork seem to be well-done. Per my experience, I can't recommend this to anyone I know...:/.
